主要特性：其綜合性能好，強度、剛度和硬度高，抗蠕變、耐磨、耐熱老化（適用溫度范圍-40度----120度），機加工性能好等。
應用領域：鑄型尼龍廣泛代替機械設備的耐磨部件,代替銅和合金作設備的耐磨易損件。如軸套、軸瓦、襯套、襯板、齒輪、蝸輪輥銅導軌、活塞環(huán)、密封圈、滑塊、球碗、葉輪、葉片、凸輪、螺母、閥片、管道、填料函、齒條、皮帶輪、泵轉子等。由于工藝和工模結構簡單，制造成本相對低廉，成為替代銅、不銹鋼、鋁合金、聚四氟乙烯等的理想材料。
